Polina Zhadko’s primary practice centres on artistic research at the intersection of art and science. She creates interactive installations, light-based works and paintings enhanced with augmented reality, using ideas from quantum physics as starting points for visual and human-scale experiences.
The research extends beyond contemporary art into literature, music and cinema. In the installations, proximity, sound, colour, motion and physiological signals connect scientific analogies with questions about thought, identity, communication and feeling.
